Automobile Clubs
  • American Truck Historical Society Formed in 1971 to preserve the history of trucks, the trucking industry, and its pioneers
  • Antique Automobile Club of America Founded in 1935. The aim of the AACA is the perpetuation of the pioneer days of automobiling by furthering the interest in and preserving of antique automobiles. The AACA uses the term automobile in a comprehensive sense to include all self-propelled vehicles intended for passenger use (cars, race vehicles, trucks, fire vehicles, motorcycles, powered bicycles). Similarly, the term includes various power sources, such as gasoline, diesel, steam and electric.
  • Cadillac LaSalle Club, Inc. Founded in 1958 to encourage enthusiasts restore collectible Cadillacs and LaSalles built from 1902-1942. Now the CLC recognizes all vehicles built by Cadillac.
  • The Classic Car Club of America This site defines Classics or Full Classic Cars as ...fine or unusual motor cars which were built between and including the years 1925 to 1948. The researched estimate of the CCCA is that the total number of American produced classic cars is around 1,366,843
  • Early Ford V8 Club of AmericaFounded in 1963 to recognize all Ford Motor Company vehicles 1932 through 1953, including Lincoln, Mercury, commercial vehicles, and tractors -- dedicated to the restoration and preservation of all these vehicles "Just as Henry built them."
  • The Federation of British Historic Vehicle ClubsFounded in 1988 to uphold the freedom to use old vehicles on the roads without any undue restriction and to support its member organisations in whatever way it can.
  • Horseless Carriage Clubrepresent the dawning of the age of the automobile industry. This unique period of automotive history covers the turn of the century to the end of carriage coachwork, gas lights, hand cranking and profuse use of brass. In essence, all automobiles are Horseless Carriages, but HCCA has defined the Horseless Carriage as any pioneer gas, steam and electric motor vehicle built or manufactured prior to January 1, 1916.
  • The Imperial Web PagesIn 1926, Walter P. Chrysler decided to compete with Cadillac and Lincoln in the luxury car field. The same year an E-80 Imperial roadster was chosen to pace the first-ever Indianapolis 500 topping out at 80 mph.
  • The Lincoln and Continental Owners Club Michigan Region -- serving the regional members of Michigan, northern Ohio, and south-west Ontario, Canada.   • Model A Ford Club of America -- national historical society dedicated to the restoration and preservation of Model A Ford vehicles as manufactured from 1928 through 1931.
  • Model A Restorers Club -- Founded in 1952. Aims of members is to acquire, restore, preserve and exhibit the Model-A Ford.
  • The Model T Ford Club International, Inc.
  • Official Studebaker Drivers Club Homepage -- over 12,000 members share everything that is related to Studebakers.
  • Veteran Motor Car Club of America -- Their publication,The Bulletin came out in 1939. The name was later changed to The Bulb Horn, which today is the official quarterly club publication for VMCCA. The Club was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in May of 1940 as a non-profit organization. In 1946, after the War ended, VMCCA started the first revival of the turn of the century Glidden Tours and has been held every year since.
  • Veteran Car Club of Great Britain -- To encourage the use and assist in the acquisition, restoration, preservation, exhibition and maintenance of Veteran (up to 1904) and Edwardian (Jan 1905 to Dec 1918) motor vehicles.
  • The Walter P. Chrysler Club this site has a big collection of mopar websites on the links page.
  • Velie Auto History -- Velies were made from 1908 to 1928. In 1922 the U.S. Navy Dept in New York tested 76 foreign and domestic cars to select the best features of automobile motors for adaptation to aircraft. Only these cars makers passed the test -- Duesenberg, Fiat, Packard, Brewster, Hispano-Suiza, Isotta-Fraschini and the Velie. For the first six years the Velies were advertised in the John Deere catalogue. Go to the site to the the John Deere connection to the Velie.

We have visited a lot of (but not all) automobile clubs on the Web and selected these automobile clubs as worthy for our visitors. 
 
The auto clubs we did not include were either paid memberships or had no been updated for over a year.
