Will You Come to My Home to Take Pictures of My Project Car?

car_illo_colorIf you live within a reasonable distance from where we are located (Galmey, MO 65779) and you also want us to help you sell your classic project car on our website, we will be happy to take the photos free of charge.

If you can take the digitial photos yourself follow these simple rules:

  1. We need a full shot of the left side, right side, back, and front.  Be careful not to cut off the front or back of the car in the photo.  You'll have to stand back until the entire car fits in the view finder.
  2. We also need a clear photo of the engine.  If the car or truck has been sitting awhile, you may need to blow the leaves and other debris off the engine before taking the photo.
  3. Open the trunk and take a picture of the floor of the trunk.  If there is carpet, pull the carpet back so the metal botton is showing.  If there is a rust hole, take a close-up shot of that also.
  4. Take several photos of the dash.  Take a close-up shot of any unusual parts of the dash.
  5. Take a full shot inside the car so viewers can see the entire front seat area. Do the same thing to the back seat.
  6. If possible, get a pic of the underbody.  You might have to get down on your knees and hold the camera under the car and snap a picture of the underbody, front and back.
  7. Buyers also like to see the owner so if you can get someone to take a picture of you beside or sitting in your car or truck, that's a bonus.
